Vancouver Firefighters Credit Union is pleased to announce that our Mobile Banking Apps are now available. This app will allow our members to send cheques to VFCU with remote deposit capture as well as all of the other features such as, bill payments and e-transfers that members currently enjoy through our desktop online banking.

COVID RELATED INFORMATION

VFCU has suspended all Interac e-transfer fees for our members due to the reduced service levels in the branch as a result of the COVID 19 health emergency as a means of lessening the impact on our members.

Due to the recent COVID 19 health crisis Firefighters Credit Union has made the difficult decision to cease all in-branch visits. At this time we will staff the branch but will not allow any face to face interaction with our members. We will respond to all requests for financial services via email and phone calls but will no longer be distributing cash, taking new loan applications or opening new accounts. We will do our utmost to serve our members remotely via our website, email and phone. Please reach out to us in any of these methods and we will do our very best to help you out. This is not a decision that we take lightly but we felt it was in the best interests of all of our members health. We promise to keep you all informed of any further changes as the situation develops.

INFORMATION ON WILLS ESTATES AND TRUST SERVICES

Your Vancouver Firefighters Credit Union has entered into a relationship with Concentra which provides Estate and Trust Services to credit union members. Concentra Trust specializes in planning and administering estates and trusts, regardless of value or complexity, including those with farms and businesses, out-of-province beneficiaries, or difficult family dynamics. The experts at Concentra Trust will ensure commitments and wishes are accurately fulfilled while maintaining sensitivity to the needs and concerns of all parties.

• act as an attorney or property guardian
• perform trustee and trust administration duties

Our flagship program, Executor EASE, is a unique, flexible service designed to help executors understand and navigate their obligations and responsibilities. Executors can choose from a range of services and select only the options they require.
